this is how i learned to cook. this is how i loved to bring people together. this is what led to starting my company Sunday Night Dinner.
i used to have these dinner parties on the roof every six weeks for 50 people.
we had the best view and we always had the best time.
for my friend laura's baby blessing, i created the most amazing spicy chocolate milkshakes (cardimom, cayenne, black pepper) that i served with a sugar rimmed mini glass.
right before the party, my husband said, laura won't drink that.
he was right.
so i decided to also make mini dr pepper ice cream floats - which of coarse, she LOVED - since dr. pepper is her favorite beverage of all time.
as inspired as the spicy milkshake was, the dr. pepper float was absolutely perfect.
My daughter showed off her finger knitting skills at the crafting community event in palm springs.

We stayed at the ACE hotel - which meant we could bring Daisy along!
Our daughter was six months old and we were staying at the soho grande hotel. For our dinner date we got a great bottle of wine at the wine shop and bought a pizza around the corner. Practical at the time, and meaningful in that I still revel in the memory nine years later!!

Two weeks of renovation and the place is transformed!!
The GRAND OPENING of the art studio was a huge success. We had about 250 people throughout the day and it felt great.
we had a color wheel of fruits
and a color wheel of vegetables
and an oversized rainbow cake!
Everyone did projects including painting, drawing, quilling and the group progressive painting project!
We are launched and open for business!
