I keep a list of all the things I will invent or make (when I am not so busy) and one of those is better plumbing in the shower. I have never understood why the controls to turn on the shower are always located in the back of the shower, under the shower head - where you tend to get wet (usually cold water) when you turn it on. Impractical.
It makes much more sense to have the controls either outside the shower, or at the far end where you could control it without getting wet.
I also have plans to invent an alternative to the ugly plumbing that routes to your sinks and toilets. Even the most beautiful bathrooms in the world have ugly plumbing.
Just because plumbing is practical but that does not mean that it has to be ugly.
