When my grandmother was a young girl she was learning to play the piano. She practiced hard and learned to play all the music that her teachers gave her.
One day, her mother sat down with her and said "Marcella - your fingers know what notes to play, and you have worked very hard at your lessons, but as much as you try, you do not make music."
And she handed her a tennis racket.
My grandmother was an excellent athlete and it was such a blessing that her mother knew her strengths and had the insight to honor them!
